SYNDROME TREATMENT
ON THE BASIS OF TRADITIONAL INDICATIONS OF POINTS USE

Aim: One of the real and complicated problems of
medicine is pain. Zhenjiu is very effective at different variants
of pain syndromes. An attempt to classify traditional indications
for pain treatment for raising the effectiveness of the therapy
was made.
Method: The treatment of patients with different variants of pain
syndromes was carried out with a consideration on creating classifications
of indicators of the points used, their hierarchic model and testing
of the effectiveness of pain relief in every seance. The correction
of the points used was based on the state of the patient. In a control
group the treatment was carried out according to the recipes taken
from foreign and Russian original sources. During the treatment
either acupuncture or moxibustion was used depending on the syndrome.
Results: In the treatment group the total effectiveness of the antipain
therapy was 89.9%, and considerable lowering of pain intensity appeared
after 1 to 3 seances. In the control group the total effectiveness
was 71.9%, and the obvious pain relief appeared after 4 to 6 seances.
Conclusion: The elaborated classification of indicators makes it
possible to design a new system approach in the use of acupoints
(using only the necessary ones in the process of treatment). Following
the classical principles, the elaborated classification and hierarchic
model of points makes it possible to raise the effectiveness of
the antipain therapy.

THE EFFICIENCY OF THE SU
JOK ACUPUNCTURE
IN TREATING PAIN SYNDROMES OF DIFFERENT ETIOLOGIES
Natalya V. BORISOVA, Oksana
S. MERIMSKAYA, Alla M. TORBINA
Su Jok Academy. Rabochaya Street, 20, Moscow 109544, Russia.
Aim: The efficiency of Su Jok acupuncture in the
treatment of 361 patients with disorders accompanied by pain was
demonstrated. Most cases were: headache, pain localized in face
and jaws, spinal pains, pains in extremities, joint pain, abdominal
pain, pains of urogenital origin, cardialgia.
Methods: The treatment was performed with the Su Jok method using
basic energy treatment, correspondence, Six Ki, emotional and mental
treatments. The degrees of the initial testing tables.
Results; 211 patients felt the disappearance of pain after the first
application of the treatment. 150 patients felt relief of pain after
two or even treatment. Thus, in 92.8% of the patients the pain was
diminished up to 60% or less than 20% of the original.
Conclusions: Su Jok acupuncture is very effective in treating illnesses
accompanied by pain syndrome irrespective of its severity and duration.
The quickness and efficiency in the elimination of pain help to
improve the diseases.

A CRITICAL ANALYSIS OF
THE CLASSICAL MEDICINAL METHOD ZIWULUZHU: THE PROBLEM ON THE 10TH
DAY
Andrew V. MORENKOV
Institute of Clinical Immunology, Russian Academy of Medical Science,
Siberian Branch.
630091, 14 Yadrintsevskaya Street, Novosibirsk, Russia.
Aim: Chinese medicine is based on a solid philosophical
basis. One of the most important discoveries of ancient Chinese
philosophers and doctors was the discovery of chronobiological correlation
of the course of normal and pathological processes in the human
body and in the outer world, and the creation of chronocorrection
methods of appearing violation. Among classical methods of chronomedicine
the leading place is given to ZiWuLuZhu, which gives the possibility
to correctly choose the acupoints at the right time and to coordinate
the way of influencing on this acupoints. Following this methodological
principle, it gives a doctor the advantage to cure without fault.
Results: Studying the ZiWuLuZhu method on the basis of ancient and
modern Chinese original works showed that different authors described
the sequence of Five-element acupoints on the 10th day in their
own ways. A theoretical pattern analysis of ZiWuLuZhu method on
the basis of classical Taoist philosophical ideas made it possible
to restore the relationship between the Five-element acupoints on
the 10th day and to present their original sequence with the given
conception.
Conclusion: It is possible to explain the theoretical patterns of
Chinese chronotherapeutical methods only through the knowledge of
Taoist philosophy, numerology and astronomy of the ancient China.
Understanding of these methods will sufficiently broaden their usage
for doctors who practice Zhenjiu.

UNIFORM HOLOGRAPHIC SYSTEM
OF BODY CORRESPONDENCES:
CLINICAL CORROBORATION
Tamara A. PETRAKOVA
International Association of Su Jok Acupuncture, ul. Osennyaya,
26-388, 121614, Moscow, Russia.
Aim: To provide clinical proof of the existence
of the Holographic System of Body Correspondences as developed by
Prof. Park Jae Woo of South Korea.
Methods: Patients were examined with various pathologies with regard
to testing reactions of the Holographic System points and producing
possible therapeutic effects by stimulation of these points.
Results: The study covered over 2,000 patients in Su Jok clinics
in Moscow and proved high responsiveness of the points of the Holographic
System of Correspondence(95%) and good therapeutic effects produced
by their stimulation(cured or considerable improvement in 80% of
cases).
Conclusion: The efficacy of the treatment has supported the existence
of a Uniform Holographic System of Body Correspondences. The system
composition is in accord with the principles suggested by Prof.
Park Jae Woo, that is, that there exists two basic correspondence
systems, there levels of each system, reflection symmetry principles,
correlation of the Yin and Yang surfaces, etc. The Uniform System
of Body Correspondences is highly effective, easy to learn, simple
to apply, safe and inexpensive. It must become a part of the basic
skills of physicians of any specialty.
