Aim: It is to evaluate the clinical therapeutic effect on knee joint pain by using Single Acupoint of the 2nd Metacarpal Radius Side Micro-acupuncture System of Diagnostic and Therapeutic Method (MRS Micro-acup. D&T Method). The statistical value of Pressing-pain Pain-threshold (PPPT) of MRS Micro-acup. D&T Method is also evaluated.
Methods: Thirty patients with knee joint pain classified as injury of infrapatel fad pad and chondromalacia patellae and 100 healthy human with normal knee joints were under study. Single Acupoint such as Lung-heart, Liver, Stomach, Duodenum, Kidney, Waist, Lower abdomen, Leg and Foot of MRS Micro-acup. D&T Method that selected objectively by the PPPT was used in each treatment. Computer software such as the Chinese version of dBASE III plus, IBM Story board Live, Painbrush of Windows 3.1 and SAS system were used for data sorting, graph plotting and statistical analysis.
Results: The results showed that (1) the curative rate, very-effective rate, effective rate, ineffective rate and total effective rate were 20.0%, 33.3%, 40.0%, 6.7% and 93.3%, respectively; (2) from the overall analysis of the PPPT of the acupoints of the MRS Micro-acup. D&T Method one can investigate the complicated change of the PPPT indexes of the acupoints and realized indirectly the characteristics of acupoints.
Conclusion: The therapeutic effects of knee joint pain by acupuncturing the Single Acupoint at the MRS Micro-acup. D&T Method is satisfactory. The PPPT diagnostic on the MRS Micro-acup. D&T Method is statistically significant. It also reflects indirectly the characteristics of acupoints of this micro-acupuncture system. For further proof of this, it is suggested that more discussion and research to be followed.

WORLD ACUPUNCTURE FRINGE MEDICINE
ASSUNTA IRIDOLOGY PRINCIPLE OF PATHOLOGICAL DIAGNOSIS & TREATMENT THE BA GUA ACUPUNCTURE SKILLS OF YIJING MEDICINE EAST AND WEST VERSUS EINSTEIN'S THEORY OF RELATIVITY

Assunta Iriddiagnosis is a medical science based on morbid appearance of the iris. It is one of the earliest forms of Ba Gua movement eye acupuncture and the ebb-flow theory to treat diseases.
The iris is embryologically formed by the same tissue which formed brain and spinal cord. The functions of human body can be reflected in the contraction and relaxation of its fibers, in the accumulation of pigments, etc. Therefore, problems such as inflammation, chronic diseases and developing cancers could be diagnosed through observing the iris.
Much of the theory is derived from Ba Gua and Nei Jing. The term "movement eye acupuncture" hence is developed through Shen movement.
Ba Gua also states that "Shen" is controlling the life process. "Qi" can be regulated by activating "Shen".
Challenging that Western science may not be totally scientific, whereas Eastern science may not be totally unscientific, the author presents:
(1) Yi Jing Ba Gua acupuncture technique and Chinese eye acupuncture Ba Gua treatment.
(2) Assunta Yi Jing Ba Gua acupuncture and Einstein's theory of relativity.
(3) Assunta Ba Gua medical theory and its modern scientific research.
