ABSTRACT:
Peripheral facial palsy is a common disease. It occurs all of a sudden. Patients often worry about whether they have cerebral vascular diseases or not. Most patients have good prognosis, but there are several patients suffer for years.
We chose several acupoints for the treatment of patients of facial palsy. In the group A, the acupoints are: Li4(on the healthy side): Li20, S4, S6, B2, G14, T17(on the palsy side). In the group B, the acupoints are: Li4(on the healthy side): Li20, S4, S6, B2, G14, T17(on the palsy side), and the auricular acupoints: eye point and face area.
Patients accept acupuncture every other day and electric stimulation 15 minutes on 4 acupoints during every treatment. Ten treatment are a course. We assemble the effective rate after two courses. Results reveal that acupuncture is an excellent treatment for the victims of peripheral facial palsy. The effective rate of group A is 90.6 percent and the effective rate of group B is 90.5 percent. There is no significant difference between these two groups. There are 5 patients who have no good effect to the acupuncture treatment. There are 3 patients are victims of Diabetes mellitus. The patients of peripheral facial palsy who have diabetic peripheral neuropathies have poor prognosis.

ABSTRACT:
Acupuncture has been practiced clinically in all kinds of diseases with highly satisfied results for over 3000 years. WHO recognizes there are more than 300 indications for acupuncture. Some of the treatment skills are now applied in different fields and acupuncture is the one with satisfied results in emollient and slim. Environment, life style, endocrine and balanced diet are contributing factors to slim and emollient. Acupuncture has better achievements in treatment course and result when compare with other programs. In the mean time acupuncture regulate and modify the systemic condition of body (Insomnia, Obs/Gyn, GI disorders) to enhance the overall treatment effect. This is a simple, fast approach with least side effect and complication for electroacupuncture in beauty.

TITLE: Pain Oriented treatment of back pain

ABSTRACT:
Back pain is recognized as soft tissue injury (strain, contusion and fatigue of muscle, fascia, ligments) over dorsal surface of body from lower part of neck to sacral region with varieties of symptoms and sings. Such varieties usually confuse both patient and physicians in description, diagnosis, treatment and even therapeutic outcome of the problem, leading to slow progression of the disease. Back pain is clinically divided into different sections and is treated individually. It is simple, valuable and practical treatment modalities to beginners and areas where medical facilities are not well equipped through clinical and academic proof.
